You are surrounded by ten peaks above 7,000m once you arrive, and the walk through Gurung villages on the way there is one of the most rewarding in Nepal.
Fly or drive Kathmandu to Pokhara. Afternoon orientation and rest. Overnight in Pokhara.
Drive to Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m). Rice paddies, river crossings and the first foothills. 4 to 5 hours.
