The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you through some of the most varied terrain in the Himalayas. From rice terraces and rhododendron forests in the lower valleys to the open glacial amphitheatre of the Annapurna Sanctuary at 4,130m. You are surrounded by ten peaks above 7,000m once you arrive, and the walk through Gurung villages on the way there is one of the most rewarding in Nepal.

● Soak in the natural hot spring at Jhinu Danda at the end of the trek

Day by Day

Your 8-Day Journey

Fly or drive Kathmandu to Pokhara. Afternoon orientation and rest. Overnight in Pokhara.

Drive to Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m). Rice paddies, river crossings and the first foothills. 4 to 5 hours.
