About this Package

Package Overview

The Everest Helicopter Tour is the most time-efficient way to experience the Khumbu region. Departing from Kathmandu at dawn, the flight passes above terraced hills, Sherpa villages and glacial valleys before landing at Kala Patthar at 5,550m for a 15 to 20 minute stop with Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and the Khumbu Icefall directly in view. A breakfast stop at the Everest View Hotel at 3,880m follows, with mountain views across the terrace. The entire experience takes 4 to 5 hours. It is perfect for those with limited time, physical constraints, or anyone who wants Everest alongside a full Nepal itinerary without the 12-day trek commitment.
